CPW Digital Licenses

Colorado Parks and Wildlife resident fishing, small game, and small game and fishing combination licenses are now accessible through the myColorado app! Resident anglers and hunters can purchase any of these licenses at cpw.state.co.us, your local CPW office or any authorized sales agents statewide. Once your purchase is complete, head to the myColorado app and follow the instructions below to display your CPW Digital License from anywhere in Colorado. 

If you plan to visit any of Colorado's 42 state parks, don't forget that your Keep Colorado Wild Pass has gone digital! Can I purchase a fishing, small game or small game and fishing combo license via the myColorado app?

In myColorado, tap Shop Colorado Parks & Wildlife on the Services tab and navigate to the appropriate pages to purchase your CPW license. 

Are there technical requirements to use the CPW Digital Licenses via the myColorado app?

Yes, you must be on the current release of the myColorado app and have an active account. Operating system requirements: For security reasons, the myColorado app requires Android OS version 9.0 or higher or Apple iOS version 15.0 or higher. To check or update your phone's operating system version, you can visit the Android OS page or the Apple iOS page

How can I access my Hunter Education Card? 

In myColorado, tap Colorado Parks and Wildlife Licenses in the app Wallet, then tap Hunter Education Card. On the next screen, tap the Upload Hunter Education Card button and take a photo, upload a photo, or upload a PDF of your current card. From there, simply name the card and tap Submit to upload. 

What can I do if I entered the wrong Customer Identification (CID) number? 

You will receive an error message saying that the license is unavailable and to contact CPW. Simply input the correct details and submit your request again.
